BY ACCESSING, BROWSING, OR USING THE PACIFICALENS PLATFORM (INCLUDING AS A GUEST), YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND EXPRESSLY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS HEREIN. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MUST CEASE ALL USE OF THE PLATFORM IMMEDIATELY.

1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCEPTANCE

By using PacificaLens (“the Platform”), you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and are not barred from using the Platform under the laws of your jurisdiction or any other applicable jurisdiction. Your use of the Platform, including simply browsing the market data as a “Guest,” constitutes your automatic and irrevocable acceptance of these Terms.

2. THE SERVICES AND NON-CUSTODIAL NATURE

PacificaLens provides a visual interface and analytics layer for the Pacifica.fi protocol on the Solana blockchain.
  • Interface Only: PacificaLens does not execute trades, hold funds, or manage liquidity directly. All financial transactions occur on the Pacifica.fi smart contracts.
  • Non-Custodial: We never have access to your private keys or seed phrases. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and any Agent Keys generated and stored in your browser’s local storage.

3. TRADING AND FINANCIAL RISKS

  • Risk of Loss: Perpetual trading involves high leverage and significant risk of total capital loss. You acknowledge that “Liquidation” is a permanent loss of funds.
  • No Financial Advice: No content on the Platform—including AI Assistant responses, “Trader Scores,” “AlphaBoard” rankings, or “Liquidation Heatmaps”—constitutes financial, investment, or legal advice.
  • Execution Latency: You acknowledge that blockchain data may be delayed. PacificaLens is not responsible for losses resulting from price “slippage” or stale data.

4. SPECIFIC FEATURE DISCLAIMERS

  • Auto Copy Trading: By enabling Auto Copy, you grant the Platform permission to mirror trades via your Agent Key. You acknowledge that the “Source Trader” may change their strategy, suffer losses, or act maliciously. PacificaLens is not liable for any losses incurred through automated mirroring.
  • AI Assistant: The AI uses third-party models (Groq/Elfa). You understand that AI can generate “hallucinations” or incorrect financial data. Never trade based solely on AI output.
  • Globe Pins: Any location data you share via the interactive globe is public and stored on Supabase. Do not drop pins that could reveal your precise physical identity or location.

5. BUILDER FEES AND REBATES

By using the Platform to place orders, you acknowledge that a 0.1% Builder Fee is automatically tagged to the PACIFICALENS builder code. This fee is a condition of using our professional-grade trading tools and interface.

6. AGENT KEY SECURITY

The “Agent Key” system allows for seamless trading without manual wallet approvals.
  • Local Storage: These keys are stored locally on your device.
  • User Responsibility: If you clear your browser data, lose your device, or are compromised by malware, PacificaLens cannot recover these keys or the authority they hold. You agree to indemnify PacificaLens against any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your local machine.

7. PROHIBITED USES

You agree not to:
  • Use the Platform if you are located in a restricted jurisdiction (e.g., USA, sanctioned countries).
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the “Trader Score v3” algorithm for commercial gain.
  • Use bots to scrape market data beyond the limits of the Pacifica Builder API.

8. MODIFICATION OF TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically for updates.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PACIFICALENS AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR THE PACIFICA.FI PROTOCOL.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the principles of international commercial law and decentralized finance (DeFi) best practices. Any disputes shall be resolved through final and binding arbitration.

11. RISK MANAGER AND CALCULATOR DISCLAIMER
The “Risk Manager” tool provided on PacificaLens is a mathematical simulation designed for educational and planning purposes only.
  • Estimation Only: Calculations regarding position sizing, margin requirements, and estimated liquidation prices are based on current market inputs and the Pacifica.fi formula. These are estimations and not guarantees of execution prices or account safety.
  • User Inputs: The accuracy of the Risk Manager output depends entirely on the data provided by the user. PacificaLens is not responsible for errors, typos, or misinterpreted inputs (e.g., incorrect entry price or stop-loss levels).
  • Market Volatility: In fast-moving markets, “Slippage” may cause your actual execution or liquidation price to differ significantly from the results shown in the Risk Manager. You agree that using these tools does not eliminate the risk of total loss.

12. ACCURACY OF DATA AND REAL-TIME FEED

PacificaLens aggregates data from the Pacifica.fi API and other third-party providers (Groq, Elfa, etc.).
  • “As-Is” Data: All market data, including but not limited to Funding Rates, Open Interest, Liquidation Heatmaps, and Price Tickers, are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
  • Latency and Outages: We do not warrant that the data feeds will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. Delays in WebSocket connections or API responses (latency) may occur. You acknowledge that trading based on delayed data can lead to financial loss, and PacificaLens shall have no liability for such occurrences.
  • Third-Party Errors: We are not responsible for inaccuracies originating from the Pacifica.fi protocol, external exchanges (for arbitrage scanning), or news aggregators.

13. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PacificaLens and its developers from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
  1. Your reliance on the Risk Manager or any analytical tool on the Platform.
  2. Decisions made based on the AI Assistant or “Trader Score” rankings.
  3. Technical failures of the Solana network or Pacifica.fi smart contracts.
