Connect your wallet
Open the landing page
Go to pacificalens.xyz. You’ll see the interactive 3D globe with a Connect Wallet to Start button at the bottom of the screen.
Click Connect Wallet to Start
Click the Connect Wallet to Start button. Privy opens a modal that lists your available wallet options. If you don’t have a browser extension installed, select the embedded wallet option — Privy will create an in-app wallet for you.
Approve the connection in your wallet
Your wallet extension (or the embedded wallet UI) will ask you to approve the connection. Confirm the request. You won’t be asked to sign a transaction at this stage — this is a read-only connection approval.
Builder Code approval
The first time you place an order on Pacifica Lens, you’ll be prompted to sign a one-time Builder Code approval transaction. This approves thePACIFICALENS builder code on your account.
You only sign this transaction once. After approval, every subsequent order is tagged to PACIFICALENS automatically — no additional prompts. The approval supports all wallet types (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and Privy embedded) with automatic provider fallback.
The Builder Code tags your orders to Pacifica Lens for attribution and fee-rebate eligibility. It does not grant Pacifica Lens any authority over your funds or account. You remain in full control of every trade you place.
Agent Keys
Agent Keys are delegated signing keys that let Pacifica Lens place orders on your account automatically — without requiring you to approve each trade individually. They are required for Auto Copy Trading. How Agent Keys work
When you configure an Agent Key, Pacifica Lens uses it to sign copy-trading orders on your behalf entirely within your browser. The key never leaves your browser — it is stored only in your browser’s local storage and is never transmitted to any server.Set up an Agent Key
Go to Pacifica.fi Account Settings
Log in to app.pacifica.fi with the same wallet you connected to Pacifica Lens. Navigate to Account Settings.
Generate an Agent Key pair
In Account Settings, find the Agent Keys section and generate a new key pair. Pacifica will show you the public key and private key. Copy the private key immediately — you will not be able to view it again.
Approve the Agent Key on-chain
Pacifica will prompt you to sign a transaction that registers the Agent Key’s public key on your account. This is a one-time on-chain approval.
Paste the private key into Pacifica Lens
In Pacifica Lens, open the Copy Trading section and click the Agent Key configuration panel. Paste your private key into the field provided. The key is saved to your browser’s local storage only.
